Saturday,January 7 was a great day.... So many pictures!

Hello Everyone!

It is the weekend, and I hope that all of you are enjoying it.

Since it is Saturday I figured it was time I went out and did something different... A trip to a local island was on the agenda for the day. The island trip allows me to combine the beach, a temple, and a Geocache all in the same trip. Then it is back on the boat to make sure I get to my tattoo appointment in the evening. 

   After finishing the update on my blog, I figured I could use some exercise so I decided I would grab my  morning Starbucks and walk to the pier. The walk is maybe 2 miles I would guess. I grabbed a few pictures along the way of just some off the wall stuff, and then throughout the day I took hundreds of pictures of just about everything. Sorry for the picture overload, but I really did thin out so many, and it makes up for the days I really don't have anything to post. Some will be a bit crazy just to add some humor to this whole thing. 

As far as the comment I got about adding temperature, smells, and sounds.... I would love to oblige, but this blog is already taking so much time to keep up with. As far as temperature ~ I do not have a thermometer (Pretty much HOT, and HUMID - But I have been here when it is much worse!) The sounds in town are usually of traffic and people to the extreme. The smells in town are usually of all types of food cooking everywhere. I  hope that helps a little bit...

The guy next to me roped himself up a beer for the trip. This is one of the two most popular brands of beer in Thailand ~ The other would be LEO.... Chang means Elephant in Thai.

Koh Larn is the name of the island, and it is a great place to come and relax!

Unsure, but judging by the toys and the little statues this one has something to do with children.

Do to the high amount of European, and Russian tourist the Thong is very popular ~ Not a bad thing!! The downside is that The Speedo is also very popular ~ Sorry, I forgot to get any pictures of me in my Speedo!

Can you believe that someone would actually throw an empty water bottle out on the beach???  I wanted you all to be aware of this ongoing problem ~ Damn litterbugs ~~ :)

So happy that I lost about eighteen pounds before this trip ~ I could actually go shirtless without looking like The Blob.

Another picture of me ~ You wont get many of these since I am traveling alone.

I just love these little bags of chips.... They cost about thirty cents, and have about  ten chips in them. This is perfect for the urge and not getting carried away on the portion ~ They need these available Stateside.

So that was the end of the day.... It was almost midnight and Lek dropped me back at my hotel. I thought about going out and checking out some nightlife, but I was just beat. Decided to go through some of the pictures, and then it was crash hard!!
So, I really don't have any plans for Sunday but I will still be posting something ~ At least two photos is what I am supposed to do, so you will get at least that.
